Hi everyone! After a long time thinking and reading some blogs I decided
to create my own blog. I hope you like it!
In this first post I will talk about the evolution of gadgets and
instruction manuals. Have you ever noticed how the Gadgets like
mobiles are increasingly complex? Every month a new cell phone is launched
with more features than the previous model. The Digital natives quickly embrace
the new features and abandon old models, but the digital immigrants
complain that they can't do the basics like make a simple phone call .
Nowadays, even the digital natives have difficulties to use all the
functions of their gadgets. One reason: people don't like to read instruction
manuals .Everybody says they are boring and too much complex. I
particularly like to read them. In general, they provide the information needed
to use the devices correctly. Does anyone remember how difficult it was to program
a VCR to record the novel? I already gave "lessons" about it, lol!
Currently , the manuals aren't the only means of learning. The Internet
offers many ways to learn how to use cell phones , HDTV, tablets, etc. This is the subject of
tomorrow 's post!
